I genuinely appreciate the opportunity to create a beautiful musical presence that supports people as they gather and remember someone they love.
Together with my accompanists, I provide traditional music for memorial receptions and celebrations of life throughout Halifax and the surrounding area.
Our repertoire moves from slow waltzes and airs to gentle jigs and joyful Celtic melodies. Live music naturally sets the tone for attendees to settle in, share stories, linger during memorial receptions.

Reception Package
2 hour service of live music performed by a fiddle + harp or guitar duo- 600$
Travel and basic sound/AV needs are included. Sliding-scale and custom packages are available upon request.

While Hayley is a Celtic fiddler, she is also a trained violinist and intercultural music-maker. This gives us flexibility to incorporate musical traditions that are meaningful to your family, or to create an adaptation of a particular song or piece.
We'll take care of the music.
We arrive with everything we need and coordinate with venue directors to ensure a seamless set up. Working with us means adding live music to your reception is supportive to the emotional tone. Our music enriches the atmosphere without disruption.
